CTEL Examination subtests are administered in morning and afternoon test sessions that are three
hours in length. The morning session has a reporting time of 7:30 a.m. and ends at approximately 11:15 a.m. The
afternoon session has a reporting time of 11:45 a.m. and ends at approximately 3:30 p.m. Examinees will be
assigned to one or both sessions according to the number and type of subtests for which they registered.
You may register to take one, two, or all three subtests at an administration, as indicated in the following
table. If you register for both CTEL 1 and CTEL 3, you will be assigned to take both subtests in the same test session.
